The light rays on the keyboard stopped working for me after the new update.
the same issue is happening with me. @Piano Covers how did you manage to turn back on the light rays option? nothing is happening in mine when I toggle that option. Please help
Ok thanks for your help
Ok, that mode is not designed to be used with overlaying on video. But if you want that, clicking "Default" in Light Settings will give you that effect.
In the first video there are light but not really rays because the light don't follow the keys (don't really know how to explain it) but in the second video the light is in the same shape as the keys and is forming shadows. Furthermore, when I turn off and on the light ray setting nothing changes.
In the video you previously posted, it looks to me as if it’s doing exactly the same thing as in the video you just posted.
I want to add lightrays to the keyboard like in this video, that gives the illsuion of having led lights on the piano. (This was made before I updated to the most recent version)
In that video, it looks like everything is working.
Could you please specifically explain what’s wrong in that video?
Okay I'll try again
Hello, I'm sorry for the difficulty, but it looks like the two most recent files you uploaded didn't upload properly to the forum.
Could you share them to the email email@example.com instead?
And do you think it might be possible to upload a short video capture of what you're seeing when you try to play live?
Sorry, it's just harder for me to debug an issue when I can't easily replicate it.
That's strange... I'm testing that exact scenario right now and the light rays seem to be working fine.
Could you upload a screenshot of the Light Settings window?
Im using a MacBook Pro and I have imported both a midi file and a video with live notes. The issue is with the light rays on the live notes from my real keyboard. The version I'm is using 4.5.3.
What platform is this on?
Is this on live notes from your keyboard, or with imported MIDI?
What exact version are you using?
