Whenever I open the program in windows, the app immediately crashes and when it doesn’t crash, I get about 2fps.

Please give the 4.3.1 update that was just posted a try. You can download from www.visualmusicdesign.com
If you are still having issues, please post a video screen capture of the startup process showing the issue, if possible.
