render button was not responding. i exited the program and then opened it again and my filed were gone. what can i do?

1. Have you tried opening up the app data folder as previously suggested?
2. Can you make a video screen capture of this issue happening, so I know exactly the steps you’re taking in the app?
I recorded again. this time while rendering the program just closed and deleted the file again.
That sounds extremely unusual.
What platform are you on?
I would check the app data folder to see if your files are in there. It would probably be a good idea at this point to copy and paste the app data folder to your desktop so that you have a backup.
Windows:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Visual Music Design\SeeMusic
This folder is hidden, so you need to choose "Show Hidden Items" in Windows Explorer
MacOS
~/Library/Containers/com.VisualMusicDesign.SeeMusicUnity/Data/Library/Logs/Visual Music Design/SeeMusic
To easily get to this folder, use the GO menu at the top of the Finder, and select GO TO FOLDER, and copy that address into it.
