After the latest update the video and the app itself are lagging, but the music plays normal. Can't do anything on the app. Help!

Try disabling all of the effects in the Effect Settings window, to isolate if a specific effect could be causing the lag.
The first effect I would try disabling is the Glow feature.
Oh, platform is Android
What platform and device are you on?
Is the lag in renders or playback in the app itself?
Please share as much information as you can - a video screen capture would be helpful.
