I'm trying to change the animation direction by clicking the down arrow, but it's not changing and is continuing to go up no matter what. I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing seems to be working. Please help!

I had a similar issue. To fix this, on effects settings in the center of screen on the right hand side of the text "lights" is the reset settings button. I reset all settings which wiped everything but now the notes are going in the right direction
