no matter what i do, the saber is not visible. this has been persistent through the last few versions
using a fresh install of windows 7

Also, thanks for adding the octave guides. I was getting tired of using the DIY png one.

Coincidentally, I upgraded to windows 10 very recently. Everything was slow and it wouldn't stop using 25% cpu for random useless processes. I went back to windows 7 a few days later, hence the fresh install.
Too bad.

Ok - the app will definitely take up CPU while the visualization is running - the processes likely aren't "useless". Clicking the Pause Visualization button should help reduce CPU usage while you're not using the app.

@visualmusicdesign I was referring to a windows 10 computer sitting idle doing nothing, not VMD. Your app works very well and is quite efficient.

Sorry about this - Unity had an update a few months ago that removed video support for Windows 7.
Windows 7 has reached end of life and is no longer supported by major developers.
Upgrading to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 will fix the issue.
If you purchased a subscription and would like me to refund and cancel it, I would be happy to do so - just let me know the email for the account and the PayPal email.
